HOMEMADE CARROT JUICE

HOMEMADE CARROT JUICE

Although I'm usually more of a fruity kind of lady, there are often times when a less-chewy fruit is just all I crave for. This has been the case for a long time now, hence I decided that it was high time I started making my own versions of fruit juices. I have made a couple of fruit juices, for example, the pineapple, watermelon and carrots juice, but this time around, I have decided that it is time to give the carrot juice a shot. Carrot Juice - that juice extracted from carrots that specifically contains a high amount of β-carotene, which is an antioxidant that converts to vitamin A. Carrot juice is also an excellent source of B complex vitamins such as folate as well as several minerals such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, copper and magnesium. All these vitamins and minerals play an integral role in promoting a healthy body, hence the reason you definitely need to include the carrot juice in your diet. There are diverse options when it comes to carrot; it can be juiced, used for making carrot smoothie, carrot cake, fried carrot chips,  used for making salads or for cooking assorted dishes. Infact, anything you can think of really. Recently, I have been attracted to the homemade juice, hence this time around, I went with the homemade fresh carrot juice. Interestingly, I had enough carrots in the house and I decided to give it a go. It was an amazing outcome though, and one I would make over and over and over again. Most importantly, the entire process doesn't take a while and you are left with such a refreshing juice that is capable of rejuvenating your body in and out at any time of the day.
If you think that eating fresh carrot is boring, try juicing it at the comfort of your kitchen before you totally write it off; you might be amazed at how tasty and refreshing the juice can be! Carrot juice contains the essential natural ingredients which are worthy accumulating in our bodies. Just so you know that I find it interesting to make a homemade version that can equally compete with the factories-made versions that are usually bought from the grocery stores. This recipe is pretty simple and the outcome is just so natural as it does not contain any artificial preservatives, which are synonymous with factories-made versions. This fresh homemade carrot juice is exactly what I wanted and I'm glad I made it to my satisfaction.
Let me reiterate that it is a simple recipe that uses easily-available ingredient one can always have around. To ensure that this juice comes out so well, the recipe calls for cutting off the tips of the carrots and giving the carrots a thorough wash before throwing them into the juicing machine. I think cutting off the tips of the carrots is the key step as you don't want those dark-greenish tips to add an awful taste to the carrots. Once the carrots have gracefully been processed via the juicer, then it is ready for immediate consumption but it is still okay to let it cool off in the fridge first before feasting on it.
